After earning both her M.A. & B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, Sheryl started her career in production working on The Martha Stewart Show in New York. Over the next couple years, she continued to work in daytime television with the likes of Emeril Lagasse, Tim Gunn, & T.J. Holmes, and ultimately decided to relocate to Los Angeles to delve into scripted television. Sheryl’s tenure in Los Angeles included time as Project Coordinator for Emmy, Grammy, and Tony award winning Director, Stan Lathan, on BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood, starring Kevin Hart; and TV Land’s The Soul Man, starring Cedric The Entertainer and Niecy Nash. She also had the pleasure of working as the Director’s Coordinator for Dave Chappelle’s Grammy award winning Netflix comedy specials, Deep in the Heart of Texas, and The Age of Spin.

Since relocating back to the northeast, Sheryl has served as director and producer on a variety of media projects throughout the region, including time as Production Manager for Tweed Video, Co-Producer for the feature length documentary, What Is A Black Man?, and as Producer for the Yahoo Allyship Pledge.
